April 2nd 2015

Based in Cheshire ,I first sat on a pony when I was 1 yrs and never really stopped riding since! Now 20 yrs I have been competing at County level including qualifying and being placed at the Royal Internatonal Horse Show and Horse of the Year Show for 18 yrs.

I studied Level 3 Extended Diploma in Horse Management at Reaseheath Collage for 3 yrs, alongside going through my BHS Stage exams.

My passion ,social life ,career and hobby is horses, i suppose you could say I was born and bred to  have horses.I live by my own little saying that "the time when I stop riding is when I'm struggling to keep my dentures in!"

I feel I am lucky to have parents that happily support me in what I do and they thoughly enjoy taking part in helping. Both of my parents were also brought up with horses and  have  now stepped down slightly! My dad is on many judges panels and has a good eye for a quality horse.

I would like to Thank Galloping Geldings for their kind sponsorship. They offer generous help and support and welcome you with open arms.

July 2015

Well....What a start to the season I have had already.Following my Intermediate Show Hunters colic surgery last season,he has come back on the circuit with a BANG !!Already clinching too many wins, champions and supreme to list and regaining three Supreme titles. He has qualified for the Royal International Horse Show end of July and we are now campaigning the Horse of thr Year Show qualifiers. One of our recent resultwas competing at the Aintree national Summer Show where he stood 1st and champion Intermediate Show Hunter and regained his 2012 title supreme Pony of Show.

October 2015.....''ON THE ROAD TO HOYS''

Following the amazing triumph at The Aintree National Show where we stood overall Supreme of the Show,we have been on the road ever since continuing to succeed with success.Next stop,North of England Pony Show @ Arena Uk......where we have been crowned champions here before in2013 gaining the Sporting Sam £1000 Intermediate title. This year not only did we qualify for that same supreme again but also qualified to compete in the TopSpec £1000 Pretty Polly Supreme. We made the executive decision to just compete in the Pretty Polly supreme this time to save our energy as it is a long day,but we definately made the right decision as it was smiles all around as we were crowned champions!!!!I could not have wished for my horse to have gone any better ,as the judges said ''we asked you to wow us,and that's just what you did''.

Soon after we settled back at home we were out competing again the following weekend where we had also been fortunate enough to have pre-qualified for the Speakman Contractors £500 Supreme at the BSPS Area 2b Summer Show as our journey didn't turn out to be the best.As we are soon approaching the junction to exit the motorway we hit the traffic as there was an accident further down.A journey that normally takes 1 hour turned to 3 hours just making it in time for the Supreme. The pressure was on as it was being judged using an ice skating marks scheme. All 25 competitors had completed there shows and there was 5 competitors on joint marks fighting for that supreme spot. The judges had a tough decisionto make bit in the endthey called my number out to take the supreme title.I was absolutely over the moon and could not be proud enough of what we had achieved together ,as in July alone we managed to win £2000 of prizew money within 3 weeks.

Due to other commitments we haven't been able to compete in many Horse of the Year Show qualifiers. With us qualifying for the Royal International Horse show ,we always make an effort to enter the HOY'S qualifier at Newforest and Hampshire County Show as it seems convenient to stop off whilst travelling to Hickstead, also it is a lovely old fashioned show and a joy to compete there.....BUT .....!!!This year didn't seem as convenient as on the journey down there we had a blowout on the M40 and were stationary for 3hrs! Due to the rescue company not being very helpful I rang my brother back in Cheshire ,where he was able to supply a local recovery company to the area we had broken down in and we were back on the road in no time. For some reason Rooney absolutely loves this show and performs every time.

"Showing Season 2016"

Every year our horses get older and so do there riders, competing season after season not knowing if it's going to be your last year with that horse or not. I have had Rooney (LOUVAINE ROONEY) for 4 years now which is like a lifetime with us as normally buy youngsters, bring them on, build up a record and sell on. But Rooney isn't just any horse, he is a horse for life as once I've turn 25yrs I can then go into small hunters with him. This year I've been testing the waters a bit more and putting him to the test as a small hunter at a higher level and has been proving successful with many great results. Already we have achieved many wins, champions and supreme competing both in small hunter and intermediate show hunter classes. Recently we have qualified for the Royal International and eagerly await the HOYS qualifiers to start.

Earlier on in the season I decided to fetch out my Intermediate Show Riding Type BROWNSCOMBE FLOELLA to Aintree for some education in-hand where she won and came supreme of show. Unfortunately due to her not making the height I wanted we have recently sold her on where in the near future I'm sure she will be competing at HOYS.

To replace her I have recently bought a Large Intermediate Show Riding Type PREMIER PROPOSAL that will be coming out towards the end of the season, which I am looking forward to.
